To be successful on projects you need:

Understanding of domain specific
Strong knowledge of Java Core
Strong understanding of Microservices(patterns, interactions, core components)
Excellent knowledge of Spring ecosystem(Spring boot, Spring Data, Spring Cloud and etc)
Understanding of Message Brokers(Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ)
Understanding of Nosql/SQL databases(ELK, Mongo e.t.c)
Basic knowledge of one of the FrontEnd frameworks (React/Angular/Vue)
Understanding of what CI/CD is and how to deploy your application on the server.
Basic knowledge of Cloud provider fundamentals (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Understanding of application testing principles
