Web3 Backend Engineer

You need to have:

  • 5+ years of commercial experience with Node.js / TypeScript development, including hands-on experience in blockchain / Web3 projects
  • Strong understanding of blockchain transaction architecture, including transaction lifecycle, nonce management, gas/fee models, confirmation mechanisms, and transaction resubmission strategies
  • Experience integrating with EVM-compatible networks (Ethereum, Arbitrum, Base, Polygon, etc.); Experience building transactional pipelines, including queue management, retry mechanisms, and idempotency handling
  • Experience working with event-driven microservice architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS)
  • Experience interacting with blockchain nodes via RPC and understanding the specifics of working with node providers
  • Hands-on experience with Web3 libraries such as ethers.js, viem, web3.js, or similar
  • Understanding of DeFi protocols, including AMMs, lending protocols, bridging solutions, and on-chain routing mechanisms
  • Basic understanding of Web3 security principles, including custodial vs. non-custodial architectures and transaction signing processes
  • English proficiency at B2 level or higher

Will be a plus:

  • Experience integrating custodial providers and wallet infrastructure solutions
  • Familiarity with non-EVM ecosystems (Solana, TON, Tron)
  • Experience working with on-chain indexing solutions such as The Graph or custom-built indexers
  • Full-Stack development experience (React, wagmi, frontend development)
  • Familiarity with rollup architectures and interoperability protocols such as LayerZero, Wormhole, or similar
