Presale Business Analyst

You need to have:

  • Relevant work experience as a Business Analyst for 3+ years
  • Practical experience participating in presale activities
  • Deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and pricing models (Fixed Price, Time & Materials)
  • Ability to quickly transform a general idea into epics and features for estimation (including with limited information)
  • Experience in visualization and modeling (BPMN, UML, Figma)
  • Ability to formulate functional and non-functional requirements
  • Capability to deliver results (estimates/solutions) with limited or contradictory input data
  • English language proficiency at B2+ level or higher

Will be a plus:

  • Technical background
  • Experience participating in tenders (public procurement or large corporations)
  • Knowledge of specific domain specifics (FinTech, E-commerce, MedTech, Insurance, etc.)
  • Ability to effectively use LLM models as "assistants" to accelerate routine analysis tasks

What to do:

  • Prompt decomposition and analysis of RFX (RFI, RFP, RFQ) documentation and client briefs
  • Comprehensive market and domain research to immerse into the client's business context, as well as to identify industry standards, regulatory requirements, and global best practices in the relevant domain
  • Conducting interviews with client stakeholders to clarify business objectives and high-level requirements
  • Preparing work breakdown structures and preliminary effort estimates in collaboration with technical experts
  • Preparing commercial proposals (Scope of Work, Vision, Roadmap), presentations, and technical-commercial justifications
  • Presenting the proposal to the client, demonstrating the company's expertise, participating in negotiations
  • Handing over won projects to the implementation team to ensure full continuity between the sales and project delivery phases
