You need to have:

Broad technical background across application development, cloud infrastructure, networking, security, and platform engineering
Previous experience building or contributing to an Internal Developer Platform, developer portal, platform engineering capability, or shared cloud platform
Hands-on experience with API gateway and API management technologies such as Kong, Apache APISIX, Envoy, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or similar
Good understanding of API security, authentication and authorization, traffic management, rate limiting, resilience, service discovery, and observability
Strong software engineering skills in Java or Kotlin, including experience with modern application frameworks and API design
Practical experience with cloud platforms, containers, Kubernetes, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, observability, and automated operations
Ability to work exploratively with incomplete requirements, identify relevant questions, and independently translate business or technical objectives into implementable solutions
Experience evaluating technical options, creating prototypes, documenting trade-offs, and presenting clear, professional recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience taking end-to-end ownership of tasks in agile, cross-functional teams and working comfortably with incomplete or evolving requirements
Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills; able to explain technical decisions, facilitate discussions, and create concise decision documents
English proficiency at B2 level or higher
