QA Engineer

For successful work on projects you need:

  • Commercial experience from 5 years
  • Experience in managing a team or leading a project/direction
  • Knowledge and experience with functional and non-functional testing: web, mobile, desktop, UI testing, API/web services
  • Understanding the project life cycle and the place of QA in this cycle
  • Knowledge and experience with databases
  • Experience with various bug-tracking and test-tracking systems
  • Experience with test documentation (test plan, testing strategies, checklists, test cases, use cases)
  • Experience in project management with various Agile software development methodologies (SCRUM, Scrum-Kanban)
  • Experience with requirements and layouts
  • Knowledge and experience with testing tools (Browser Dev tools, Fiddler, various online services)
  • Experience building testing processes on a project from scratch
  • Experience in quality reporting
  • Experience in evaluating test tasks
  • Understanding of CI/CD systems
  • Knowledge of the main architectures of building information systems
  • Understanding virtualization: why and how virtual resources are used for testing, what software is available for this (VMWare, Hyper-V, Virtualbox, docker etc)
  • Knowledge of network protocols (http/https, TCP/IP)
  • Level of English proficiency from Upper Intermediate (B2)
