To be successful on projects you need:
- 5 years of experience or more;
- Strong knowledge in data architecture design and development, including the use of architectural frameworks and methodologies such as TOGAF, Zachman or others
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
- Knowledge of ETL/ELT Pipelines and experience in developing them
- Proficiency in SQL
- Programming experience in Python or other languages used for data processing
- Experience with big data and related technologies (e.g. Hadoop, Spark)
- Strong understanding of data warehousing principles and data optimization techniques
- Knowledge of English at Intermediate level or above
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA and other data protection standards
Would be a plus:
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Google Cloud, Azure)
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with data quality and data integration tools
- Basic knowledge of machine learning and data analytics
- Experience with metadata management and data cataloguing tools
- Developing and maintaining a data architecture that ensures the efficiency and reliability of the company's data systems
- Analyzing business requirements and translating them into technical solutions
- Optimizing and supporting ETL/ELT processes
What to do:
- Develop and implement data models to ensure data quality and availability
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Ensuring data security and compliance with regulatory requirements such as GDPR
- Participating in customer pre-sales and outreach: assessing customer requirements (RFPs), estimating and leading the assessment team, proposing solutions and presenting them, creating MVPs and conducting POCs to demonstrate solutions, ensuring data is stored securely and optimized
- Ensuring reliable data storage and optimization
